Take Time for You by Leslie, MissusSmartyPants

Remember when you had style? You knew the latest styles and trends—and how to wear them. If you are like most women, it was probably before kids. Why is that? We love our beautiful children that are gifts from above, but
somehow in the process of becoming a parent, we miss-place our sense of style. Of course you are the world’s best mom and have an extremely busy schedule so dressing stylish may sound frivolous. You have a budget to think of and anything stylish would not practical enough. On the contrary,
dressing stylish is very important to who you are! It will help you maintain your sense of identity and lets you feel special about yourself—the way others feel about you.

Our daily lives have become juggling acts—trying to keep all the pins in the air without dropping any. This is what mothers do. There is no doubt about it, when you are a mom--life is busy. Often practicality makes us feel we must give up on style. When babies spit up on you, there are
errands to run, or you have no plans to leave the house—you think why bother? No real need for makeup or dressing well and before you know--practical and now frumpy has taken over your life and looks!

You can have style without much cost. It has to do with the right attitude. You can become a fashionista and stay on a budget. That’s where MissusSmartyPants comes in! I have done most of the work for you! With weekly shopping guides, style advice and encouragement to be the best woman you can be!

Women do have a gift for giving so much that there is nothing left for them. You don’t have to slip into being a martyr to be a good mother. You don’t need to lose your sense of style or identity to be a great mother. You can do both—have style and be a great mom. In fact, being the mom that dresses nice and cares about her appearance is actually teaching her
children an important lesson. You are telling them how an adult woman, mother and wife should take care of herself. Set the example by showing them and loving yourself! You are worth it!

There are others reasons women lose touch with their sense  women I talk to, say they have a great “working wardrobe” but when in comes to casual weekend wear they are way too sloppy. If you think about it, why is it we dress up and put our best foot forward with co-workers—then on the weekend when we are with our loved ones--its baggy sweats? There are easy stylish options for weekend wear—you just need a
few.

Perhaps you are at a different chapter in your life. All your babies have flown out of the nest or you are now retired. Just because you don’t have much need for a “wardrobe” anymore there is no need to give up on style!
If you do, it looks like you have thrown in the towel. Don’t do that! Live life to the fullest and wear some style! Show others that you matter.

When you take time to add a splash of makeup, a touch of accessories and wear styles and fit that are right for your body type—your attitude will be different. You will feel like you are no longer blending in with the wallpaper—you will find that you get noticed. You are a woman of importance! You are—just ask your family! Take time for you, take time for style!

Leslie Gonzales AKA MissusSmartyPants helps women by assessing their body types and building personal profiles to help each woman dress her best. Check out her website for more information, www.missussmartypants.com
