com.
For many of us, it's a fact of human nature that we get bored. Without
putting it too delicately, for many people you can only do a salad so many
ways before you can even consider having salad again. This is the main
fallacy of a number of fad diets like the Cabbage Soup Diet; while Salad
and Cabbage Soup can both be healthy, low in calories and delicious,
people do need variety.
From experience, you should be looking to change around your exercise
routine every 10 to 15 weeks. Make sure to incorporate different
exercises, different intensities, and different challenges. Basically,
whatever changes you plan to make to your program, make sure that they
will continue to make exercising fun and challenging.
The same is true for food. As time progresses, make sure to buy new
healthy cookbooks. While I'm sure there are lots of great recipes in that
first healthy cookbook you tried, trying out a new recipe can turn your
everyday meal into a whole new exciting experience again.
Eventually, all of us reach a point when we find dieting tedious and don't
see the point to continuing. Relax - this is normal. Sit down, plan out a
way to switch things up, and you will be ready for another segment on your
road to health.
